Job Outlook for ECEs in Nova Scotia
Nova Scotia is facing a significant shortage of Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) as the province expands its childcare system under the $10-a-day program. While thousands of new childcare spaces are being created, a lack of qualified educators remains a major challenge.
Job prospects for ECEs are rated “very good” across all regions, including Halifax (Dartmouth) and Cape Breton (Sydney), highlighting strong and ongoing demand for trained professionals.
